The Centre for Evaluation, Prevention and Research of Substance Abuse (CEPROS) is a non-profit public service organisation, the mission of which is to enhance the quality of public health in the Czech Republic on the basis of measurable scientific data, namely in the field of drug use especially by children and adolescents, and drug prevention activities.
CEPROS concentrates its support on developing the Czech scientific base in research of drug prevention services and public health and implementing research projects associated with international research projects, adapting and implementing international methods. Part of CEPROS's mission is participation in international development cooperation, which we consider as a key to involving Czech capacities in international scientific cooperation. On our web site you can read about our mission and history, our current as well as completed research and education projects, including programmes for development cooperation and cooperating organisations. Under resources you can find institutions and organisations that have funded our research and without whose support CEPROS would not be able to undertake its activities as a non-profit NGO.
